That goal vs WSH at 1:00 is what he needs to do on a consistent basis. We really need more forwards who can use speed to turn the defensemen around. Even if they don’t score, they break the defensive structure and create all sorts of chaos.

So I like the player, but I really dislike how close Hughes is with him… hard to be objective when you have such a strong relationship with the player, we saw it with Bergevin too.

Tonnes of potential here; he’s already a better finisher than Byron despite what his humble season stats indicate. Good power and accuracy on his release and has some serious wheels, great acquisition I think with good minutes he will explode here alongside the likes of Dach
