The New Jersey Devils have acquired forward Tyler Toffoli from the Calgary Flames for Yegor Sharangovich and a 3rd round pick.

Lol Vancouver will be bad for a very long time
They could have had so much more for Toffoli at the next trade deadline on top of enjoying his production for a good part of the season. That's a bonehead move by Calgary.
Toffoli will play less minutes in Jersey and point production will go down. Sharangovich will play more and score more. The only way the devils win this one is if they go to a cup final and Toffoli scores some key goals along the way

It is funny how people think that this a steal fro Devils. The fact that Toffoli was the top score with 78 points means that Flames can't score and that why we didn't go to the playoffs. So this a okay player for Devils. But I need to point out that he has one year deal. So it is not a win for any of the teams. It is a okay deal for both. I don't think people out side the Flames camp don't understand that we are looking for a younger team so this is not mean Flames are in Shambles. But since this a guy that is a Canucks fan then that explains everything.
Flames got fleeced. Stoked to get Sharangovich, really like his energy and potential, and I think that he is underrated. But still – the Flames could have gotten a first rounder here. Sharangovich isn't enough for Toffoli

Good Move. Get Younger. A first for Toffolli is a pipe dream. That's a move you do at the deadline as there is very little player return so get compensated with Draft Picks. also only a year left on his deal. Bonus that we don't get stuck on another long term deal on a 30+ player. Happy Flames fan.
