A guy that struggled with speed had leg surgery that knocked him out 12 weeks. I am not entirely sure what he has left in the tank. But maybe playing on a stacked team can help mask his skating issues. If any are present after the surgery. You just never know what kind of long term injuries will exist, he may be completely fine and Colorado got a 60 point 2C on a 4m cap hit. Nashville doesn't mind having dead cap though. They need to hit the floor anyway, being a rebuilding team. They have 20mil cap space and no real major contracts they need to worry about just yet. They'll probably take some other team's cap dumps for more picks. This freed up 4mil in space to eat a bad contract.
