Right after the Vegas series I was on the Fire Bednar train. Now I can’t imagine anyone else who fits the mold better than Bedsy. His coaching style of “Do it the right way and work hard” is something we should all adopt in every facet of life.
His ~~drunk~~ emotional speech at the Cup parade cemented him as one of my favorite coaches in Colorado sports history

They post it as its own show on Spotify so it’s easy to find and he’s always a great interview. I think Bedsy is on of the best PR relations coaches out there. Altitude SR, Moser Lombardi and Kane, SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple.

Love me some Bednar but Marc Crawford was an absolute boss for us too. The west was just stacked deep at the time and we could only get one cup.

Fuck yeah! Love seeing us extend Bednar as he’s been fucking good for us since he got here. Yeah he was around for the shit on Avs season, but there was no fucking way anyone was gonna save that team and he did the best he could in short notice without a summer to work with. Once he got his system in place and he had a proper offseason, we got better and we haven’t looked back and he guided us to a Cup last season.
Glad that Sakic stuck with him even in that lean season and knew we would be in good hand with Bednar, and at this rate the next time he’ll need an extension is after a decade in Colorado.
