Conroly is delusional if he thinks their current roster can be more offensive. That is hope. And hope is not a plan. Frost is not as good as Conroy is suggesting. He is an average player being paid 4.3 mil per year and Conroy is asking him to perform at a rate that a 7 mil forward is expected to produce. If he got that production from Frost that would be great but rarely happens.

Good possibilities in a good start could be Coleman, Frost, Ferraby, Gridin, Coronado, Parekh?, Secondarily maybe Backlund, perhaps Sharangovich? Wild cards maybe Huberdeau, maybe a yet to be discovered young addition? I dont expect to see any 30 goal guys but if even 2 more guys cranked it up to 20 that would have won a few more games and been enough for a tighter race for the playoffs. A few choice goals here and there make a difference to the standings. I like the way Connie and the staff are intellgently moving this team slowly forward. Now lets see some drafting magic Connie!
No need to sign free agents. Just draft well and live with tye guys you have. Trades seldom work unless you can get a disgruntled player or if you are a team that has a shot at the cup.
