If it turns out that Vladar kicks ass this postseason and is our goalie going forward, I suddenly care a lot less about the prospect pool.
We have those prospects – Zavragin, Kolosov, Bjarnasson – because we're trying to find a good goalie that we can rely on.
I don't mean to say that those guys become meaningless if Vladar is worth keeping. But if he's being the guy we need, I'm in no rush to offer it to any of them.
I don't give a flying crap if the prospects in our system see this as Vladar's team, ESPECIALLY if they want to treat it like it should be their team instead somehow?
F that. Whoever the best goalie is for us, that's who the spot belongs to!!! Everyone else can keep developing and prove they can contend for it too

I like the draft picks that Briere has stockpiled for us from various trades that shipped off big contracts and netted us draft picks. I think we have some extra seconds and even an extra first in there, if I'm not mistaken. I think we might just go on a run here. We're the hottest team in Hockey and our goalie looks great. In the goalie, defense and momentum departments, we have the clear edge over the penguins. In the depth and offense department, I think the Pens have the edge. I like our chances. Flyers in 7.

Youth movement, young man's game, and MM39 getting some boys to bond with and be dawgs with has really turned him into a monster this last month.

1) only trade Tippett in offseason if we can acquire a star D1 defenseman
2) Porter Martone can be the difference maker in this series
3) Special teams have to improve or Pens will take series if we can’t score on man advantages.
