it is honestly such a shame, climate pledge is so nice, the logo and jerseys are so cool, there's so much potential for fun with the kraken as a name/mascot
It’s really such a shame. They suck and need star power but also don’t suck enough to actually get it via drafting. It’s essentially an entire team made up of middle six forwards. Especially when compared with another expansion team like Vegas and the sort of impact and culture they’ve built there, the wasted potential is really disappointing.
Apparently they almost hired Bill Zito (now GM of the Florida Panthers) to be the Kraken’s inaugural GM and I just can’t help but wonder what could have been 😅 here’s hoping for a top 3 pick this year 🤞
Yup. Literally every time I try to watch a game before I get all my snacks and sit down they are down 2-0 already I make it through a period. I member saber tooth games in Tacoma there’s definitely a fanbase for hockey in the area. The way they play is weird. Feels like there’s no spine to the team.
It's been 5 years? Ok seriously you people….get a grip. In the old days teams would come in without bei g bale to steal players from other team….it takes a while to build up, be patient and support your team

Their branding is so good and Climate Pledge is so nice that it's a real shame they don't have the on ice product to match.
