    Hopefully with this “Pathetic End” those casual fans and the ESPN-Esque hivkey media in DET., will now understand they hv no choice but to take a step backwards next year, if they want to compete for real in 2-3yrs. If not, it’ll be a lot of avg hickey for the next 5-6 yrs followed by a rebuild.

    I genuinely mean this — maybe I'm hockey dumb. Why would you not give a start to Cossa or Postava here instead of Gibson or the guy who is a 38 year-old UFA now? Why was Raymond playing? I'm so lost as to what the thinking is here with prospects. We simultaneously refuse to play them or trade them.

    Burn it all down, that performance was inexcusable vs the bench of the Panthers.
    Also, Kane can’t be a 2nd Line Wing, next year.. Keep him on as a specialist if he stays @ all.

    Todd’s post game presser was awesome. I hope no one is left standing but Mo and DeBrincat come next season. What a pathetic roster from top to bottom. All of these guys are losers. All of them. Lost to an AHL team. This entire roster is A level beer league at best.

    If ya think about it, by this point and by NHL estimates, the Red Wings have lost close to $1 to $2.2 billion dollars total by missing 10 years in the playoffs. Monies that goes directly to the team and building that the NHL can't touch. Money used for team building and improvements.

    Honestly, I'm glad the FanDuel network is dead. Cable RSNs are a relic of yesterday. They failed to adapt in a timely manner, and when they finally did adapt, they squeezed every penny out of you. The only people I feel sorry for are the employees who weren't retained by the Wings/Tigers organizations. Main Street/FanDuel gambled, and they lost.

    As for the Wings… I'm looking forward to the Stevie and Todd press conference.

    I do get in some way that you don't care playing in a game that means nothing, but the problem is them playing like that in games that DO count for something.

    I saw a literature post saying that the redwings scouting and front office is a good ol boys club, because it’s ran by former RedWings who had success in the NHL,? it’s really REALLY starting To look that way…are the Red Wings really ran by a group of men who are more concerned by salary and 90s style hockey than improving beyond what we have seen?

    The Red Wings need new ownership.The City of Green Bay owns the Green Bay Packers. Maybe something could be worked out where the City of Detroit buys the Red Wngs
