That was a fun game! I was so hyped. I know we are not making the playoffs. I knew when we lost to boston and ottawa. Its ok everyone. We know we are good enough to make when healthy. I dont get the obsession with making it when we will get knocked out in the first round. Once the young kids can provide real depth scoring we will be a threat LGRW!!
A hattrick and career high in goals is awesome. Larkin and his team can be great when it matters – or when it's basically too late. They can pull off these heroic efforts late in games and late in the season and they can be .500 or better against 2/3 of the league including Colorado, Dallas, etc. but completely suck against the mid or bad teams or those who are on a 5-game losing streak.
4 points of 12 possible against Florida and the Rangers this season is not good enough, 1 of 10 points against Utah and Pittsburgh is unacceptable, dropping two points late against the Blue jackets etc. The March curse can live on and they'd still make the playoffs if they could just win against the teams they should beat. It's not a lack of talent, it's a lack of consistent effort and it's so frustrating.

Glad they won, would never cheer for a loss. Game pissed me off though, it’s like when you tell your kid to do something and they say they don’t know how but you’ve seen them do it before so you know they know how to do it, then they just do it perfectly after they fucked it up screwing around for hours and now I’m just pissed and want to go to sleep. Great game! Coach overplayed Gibson this year, Cam could have started about 5-10 more games and that could have changed everything, Gibson is burnt.

If the Wings were to make the playoffs, it's a first round exit, still I would rather make the playoffs than not. Not making it doesn't bother me because, I want to make the playoffs when we can go deep. We get a 2nd line center in the off season, hopefully Trocheck, Thomas is not a physical presence, and we don't need another "soft" player that loses 1 on 1 battles. We need hard nosed players that win those 1 on 1's, that is how you win in the playoffs. LGRW!

Missing the playoffs again sucks but the wings currently sit 13th out of 32 teams in points. I find it hard to believe they’re a trash team that some people make them out to be.

The Wings had a great game. Larkin & Mo were absolutely great. So were Kane, Raymond & Kat. Mo is the best player on this team period. Probably too late but that is the way this team is. And what about the third & fourth lines. Their defense seems for the most part to be settling in but they need contributions from other wingers and centers. Thank you Brian. Ray L
