The reason this is so disappointing and infuriating is because of the 10 years, 10 YEARS of choking and false hopes, a total farce where we all thought with this amount of “talent and skill” the curse would finally be broken. And now it’s all coming off the rails in a dramatic way. And above all nobody at the top or on the team seems to really care. As long as rogers and MLSE keeps making money, winning doesn’t really matter, to them that is winning, being the Disneyland of hockey.

The rookie AA goalie looked decent enough consideringthe Leafs d are a dumpster fire & the vets have quit since game one.
We all know the Leafy thing to do is to trade a good young prospect so it wouldn't shock me if the Maple Laughs traded this good young AA goalie just like they did with Minten & others i wouldn't put it paste them to not evaluate young talent.

Right now, the only way the Leafs finish 5th or worse is by hoping that Seattle and Calgary start winning games and somehow pass Toronto in the standings. The Kraken are imploding at the worst possible time for Toronto. Next week's game between the Leafs and Panthers is going to be interesting as fuck. Both teams are going to try as hard as they can to lose the game. Guarantee you that the Leafs beat Florida, allowing them to slide underneath Toronto in the standings, while Toronto finishes either 6th or 7th LOL
Leafs could have played spoiler on this and knocked the Islanders further out of playoff contention. They're sitting just outside the playoffs. That was a must win for the NYI.

I went through the 70s, 80s, 90s, 10s, 20s…it's the least likeable team ever…no heart, no emotion and no cohesion. It should have been blown up after the debacle against Montreal. I like a few players who I think, care like the goalies care, Benoit is a 3rd pairing dman or even a 7th but when the rest of the d plays like crap and the team defense is so unbelievably horrendous it rubs of on everyone…there's not even one forward I can name that I enjoy. How can you like Nylander? He doesn't give a shit, Tavares is only playing to pad his stats, Matthews is not captain material at all, Rielly is simply put, embarrassing. That's your core, a leadership group that couldn't lead you out of a cul-de-sac…Nobody has any balls, heck, we bring in Reaves for his toughness and he turns out to be the biggest dud in our history…it needs to be blown up. Look at Montreal, they did the right way.
