  1. Petey. Followed you on phnx and saw you on guerilla today. If you ever need help with graphic design websites branding, whatever this is what I’ve been doing for 20+ years I’d love to help you and I not charge much at all. It just be fun to work with you. You seem like a great guy and I’m a total puck nerd I used I used to play goalie so there you go. Hope you’re having a great day and have a great weekend

  2. Amazing analysis! I did learn for sure. For people that aren’t as familiar with the sport, it really enhances all the things to look out for during the game. Keep this content coming!!

  3. Its a lot bigger of an issue then you're letting on unfortunately, its a little embarrassing to have Mackinnon, Rantanen and Cale Makar and since Dec 1st they are 7 for 58 on the Power Play , That is a 12% PP since Dec 1st. It should be impossible to go almost 2 months with a 12% PP with these 3 alone and they're not going to change unless they fire Ray Bennett, which as an Avs fan I hope they do. Nuke being in the lineup regularly should bring some diversity back to their PP but what does that say if you have Mack, Rants and Makar and they can't execute consistently without Nuke? Somethings definitely missing there and Its coaching.

  4. Thanks Petey!! You are absolutely fantastic and auch a gem. Am so happy you are branching out on your own. I will definitely be tuning into the Coaches Room! I challenge you to get an Avs coach… Bednar is so intentional and thoughtful in his responses, and he doesn't do long form interviews. Thanks Petey!!

  5. Wow I learned so much from this. And I absolutely LOVE your positive attitude at the end. You can tell how great of a coach and teacher you are. Thank you! ❤

  6. Great analysis-I loved watching you when you covered the Coyotes-totally fair, reasonable,& insightful commentary. But basically you said it on the other show-we miss Nichuskin so friggin much. And that's the main problem with this team-they can't EVER stay remotely healthy for whatever reason(s).Maybe it's totally the injury hockey gods hate us,& seem to love Dallas,& WPG-does the training staff play a role-I have no idea.

But common sense tells me maybe the organization needs to analyze why we are easily the most injured contender in NHL BASICALLY THE ENTIRE 2020S! Started in 2020 COVID stoppage yr where we were decimated at the break. Then in the bubble-everybody except Wilson got back cuz they stopped the season for like 2 months. After we killed Az-we were decimated again by middle of 2nd round vs Dallas-down to 3rd string goalie,& missing like 7 other guys by game 4.

Broncos coach Payton the other day-wasn't talking bout the AVS. But he was talking about the Broncos before he got here, his injury philosophy,& changes theyve made since he got here. Broncos were often injury decimated before he became coach & have stayed reasonably healthy his 2 yrs here for whatever it's worth. But he clearly doesn't just chalk injuries up to 100% bad luck,& something that nothing can be done about. He literally said an organization is doing something wrong if they continue to have ridiculous injuries.

Of course some of it is definitely bad luck,it's probably 1,000 reasons,& Im certainly no doctor & don't have any of the answers. But I did long ago begun to believe it can't possibly be ONLY bad luck that we are 1 of most decimated contenders-like 4 or 5 of last 6 yrs or whatever. While Dallas,& WPG NEVER seem remotely as decimated. (to be fair-Minny has had a few seasons in 2020s that were bad-including this yr). Then when Payton made his comments-it really confirmed to me it's something they need to look into.Maybe they already have but we never hear anything about it if so.I get it's a different sport,it's complicated & that's something you probably look at in off-season not now.

But does make me wonder if the organization has looked into this,& if changes need to be made-since it's happening AGAIN to beyond ludicrous degrees.Ive said all along-if we can just get decent goaltending,& have reasonable health-I still think we have as much talent as anybody in the West.We fixed the goaltending but the staying reasonably healthy part just feels like it'll never be a reality. It's way beyond a large sample size trend by this point. But Nichuskin is so important.Theres a stat where the AVS are barely over .500 without him the last few yrs-but have best record in the NHL with him.And again-we aren't talking about a handful of games. This goes back like 4 yrs or something-it's a huge sample size.

He's missed a decent amount of games cuz of injuries & of course some of it is his substance abuse issues-getting suspended 3 times. As crazy as it sounds when you have Nate,Cale,& Mico-I really think Nichuskin is our most irreplaceable player. He isn't better than our 4th best player but clearly is our most versatile. And his greatest strengths are really the AVS weaknesses in many ways. But great to see you with a chanel-Ill bé watching all season.Hopefully the AVS can get things going tomorrow.Especially since some of us have to be at Ball arena early to work this 2pm game in a freaking blizzard,& artic temperatures-lol.
