This was a pretty high event game. Leon got hurt. The Oilers "stopped" playing really in the 2nd period. Skinner was pretty awful and the guys in front of him didn't help. PP at 100% (one PP), PK at 100% (on 3 PP's by Vancouver). Special teams Oilers won. The Oilers really shouldn't have won this game (and they didn't). Oh on the score sheet it looked great at times BUT it was like Bouch couldn't make a pass at a "woman of the night" with a roll of $50's (even though he got a primary assist), Nurse / Ceci pairing was not great (though Ceci Scored). A lot of my negatives seem to also have attached positives. Perry is invisible out there and maybe needs to make room for someone who will work. Ryan played well. Honestly McDavid didn't play up to his standard and, again, Leon got hurt just over 1/2 way into the 2nd period. While Janmark played "okay" they REALLY Missed Henrique. Hopefully the Leon situation can be resolved fairly quickly (and Henrique) but we'll see. Take care all.

  2. You have to show up for a full 60 minutes to win. Or atleast show up longer then the other team.
And the canucks are finding ways to win without Peterson having any real impact.

  3. LOOOOL bro when you gonna admit you need a BIG save to win in the playoffs and skinner rarely ever provides that………….

  4. credit where it is due: Canucks did what they had to in order to win and held the Oilers to almost no shots from the mid point of the game to the end.

  5. this game had really poor goaltending and if there's anything to draw from this it's that Canucks need Demko and the oilers need (insert name).Regardless the Canucks dominated for the final 2 periods were full value for the win –just like the previous 4 games. If neither team gets quality netminding then it's anybodys guess what will happen but I like Canucks structure and coaching over the oilers .That was fun let's see what friday brings
