It is purely because Nurse and Ceci are utterly incompetent. The Oilers were excellent in most other ways, but once Vancouver just threw all of their big guns up against Nurse and Ceci and the Oilers collapsed because those two can't play defence. It's been a real problem all year. Bouchard and Ekholm were excellent (as usual) and Desharnais and Kulak were servicable. But the final 4 goals were scored when Nurse/Ceci pair were out on the ice. It's not Skinner, the Oilers forwards, or anything else: it's Nurse and Ceci plain and simple.
Let's see if Canucks can beat them 8 time in a row.
