Petterson is overrated, and not worth the money. Yes he gets a decent amount of points but watching him his whole career he looks incredibly feeble, lazy, and stuck inside his mind. Never mind the horrible defensive play at times. Like he is asleep out there, and his decision making is atrocious.
The lack of confidence and frustration is visible.

Not only a ghost but has become a liability.
The mentality surrounding him is bringing him down; with this team he is becoming worse since his role likely has not been utilized enough: other players with similar roles have been naturally been favored in the team dynamics on the ice (therefore he is a ghost of himself). But I honestly haven’t analyzed videos since I don’t give a damn. It just likely a point of causality of many others.
He has been bad lately. Fans with bad attitudes aren’t helping the cause either.

He's worse than a ghost, he's actively hurting the team. For most of his career he's been one of the best centers in the NHL, now he can't even make a pass and misses on the open net. This is disturbing.
In the end, when Canucks win this serie it will be Petey who make it happen.
It's a little worse, offensively he is invisible. But last game he had two terrible turnovers and we eventually got scored on after both turnovers. Di Giuseppe has been invisible. Petey has been a detriment thus far. Really wishing management waited til the offseason to re-sign Petey. He's not even a 10mil player right now, let alone 11.6mil. Also thinking back on the rumors that the Canucks and Hurricanes were talking Pettersson trade at the deadline makes me wonder what kind of haul we could have got for our currently bad superstar.
Rather than shitting on him, because it’s the easiest, more classless thing to do and is easy to jump on an obvious bandwagon…fans of this team need to be lifting this man up, show come f’n character and stand behind him, show h8m some love and support and cheer him on and hope Petey finds his groove again before it it’s too late…thoughts and words have more impact than people think, and these players are human at the end of the day…u want the team to do well? Wish him well and sprinkle in some decent humanity and see if any of those positive vibes help out his situation cus y@ll are just tankin this man the more sh#t u pour on him.

Is he missing on the scoresheet or is he invisible on the ice? Yes, he's missing on the scoresheet but to say "where is he on the ice" is pretty ridiculous. That would come from someone who looked at the scoresheet but watched about a minute of the game He was definitely noticeable. He was throwing checks on the forecheck, moving his feet getting back on that shorthanded chance. He had shots blocked as most Canucks shooters, he should have shot when he passed and he could have shot high instead of low. Petersson was definitely more awake last night than you were making this video.

No he's not a ghost. You can clearly see him turning over the puck for goals against and clearly see him missing open nets and clearly see him minus 3 which was the worse on the team.
he ain't a ghost at all, what he's doing is very noticeable. i'd say Boeser gets the Ghost card so far.
It doesn't help when your team lets an empty net in the first minute of the game.. but ya. DeSmith needs to square up with the net and control rebounds better.

He's an absolute fraud. Been saying it since his bridge deal. Nuck homers are so fuxking desperate for a star that they project it onto anyone with flashes of high end talent. When he's on, he can do no wrong. When he shits the bed, they just ignore it and make excuses. Moody, streaky, inconsistent, no fire, zero personality, delicate mentally and physically. Zero leadership, yet he wears a letter. Show me a single instance where he's shown any type of leadeship on or off the ice. This is not the player you bring into battle and expect to win. An absolute boat anchor of a contract we're stuck with for the next 8 years. Next season is the only window where we can offload. I guarantee he'll put up top 20 numbers when it doesn't matter, at which point you have to ship him off to a "star" hungry market, i.e… Salt Lake, for example.
he's definitely just in a mental slump. he has no confidence anymore. ive seen this hundreds of times, even happened to me. he has to shake himself out of it.
