By all means the Kings deserved to win this game, they just outplayed, out hustled, out worked, and wanted to win more. The Oilers also didn’t help themselves much, they definitely came into the game too high on themselves thinking this was going to be a cakewalk. Don’t EVER take ANY team for granted. At least out of this game I know that Hollywood is going to be a STUD.
Yes, this sport is the closest to randomness of all the major sports. The puck hits a dent or bump in the boards, bounces off it a funny way and is what decides the game. Some could criticize the sport for this, but I prefer to admire the hockey players because of how hard their jobs are. They need to find method in the madness.

The Kings have allowed more, but now they get to play 2 games at home and I imagine things will only get tougher for the Oilers from here on out. Their defence is like a steel . . . sieve.
