I say this as a Skinner fan and I'm not mad at Skinner's response because as a goalie you have to control your emotions, but I hope and trust he's taking more responsibility than it sounds like. I know only one or two I would say was really his fault, but a goalie needs to take responsibility (and he admitted that on a few), but the tough and unfair truth about being a goalie is you have to take more responsibility than given to you, you have to be ready to bail out your team when you're not expecting it. Skinner has shown that a lot this year, but not today and I think he's just protecting his emotions which again, I get, after good form emotions are the most important thing you can have.

Take some responsibility for your game. You let in a weak goal from the boards. Another between your legs and where was your angle on the Kopitar's goal. You had to have been too much in the net. If you don't get your game together then this team will get bounced. You need to get better FAST.

I almost knew LA was gonna come out with their best effort tonight after getting killed in the first game. If the best LA can do is squeak out to win an OT they’re in trouble. The Oilers will take it to them in LA .
5 goals on 26 shots. 0.808 sv % Not good enough. Can't let in the first shot of OT. Doughty didn't even shoot-just let it dribble 5-hole. Talbot outplayed him and that was the game.
