It's one thing to play bad offensively, but to directly cost goals, and not just one goal is unacceptable. Pettersson was minus 3. No way Canucks are winning any series with supposedly one of your best players, playing like this and costing goals.

As a Preds fan, wish it wasn’t off the back of DeSmith being in net. But you can’t blame him for all of the goals. 36 blocked shots is insane. Can’t excuse that 3rd period from the Preds. This series is gonna be interesting now that it swings back into Nashville. Hope Demko is okay, and I hope we get to see him again.

Desmith is garbage. I think everyone who's played hockey knows what it's like when your goalie is as unsteady as that. the whole team dies a little inside and it comes out in their play. That's what is happening here. I think the only reason not to play Silovs next game is if Demko is ready. Then Silovs can back up.

I’m a lifelong Canucks fan and all I have to say is “Here come the Canucks fans, worst fans in the world.” Canucks fans have no objectivity. The Canucks lose a game and all hope is lost, we’re finished. Canucks fans don’t understand there will be highs and lows in the playoffs. The last couple of days we’re jumping up and down and celebrating like the cup is inevitable. Now we have no hope.
Leave it to the non-Canucks fans to get right. We outplayed them. The difference wasn’t Petterssons give away or Casey DeSmith. It was execution and the power play. We had more shots, attempts, chances. We have a better team and should win if we keep playing this way.
Don't get too down. This is good for EP and the team. Character building time.
Is it me. Or did desmith kinda cheated on that 1st goal. Making him way out of position. Or allowing way to many big juicy rebounds.
This was a difficult game no matter how you look at it for the Canucks, however man the Canucks PP need to find their game or this will be a series to forget. So many PP chances to get back into the game & they barely register any shots on goal. Also our star forwards need to step up their game & again Petey is holding that stick way too hard, the man needs to relax. He looks shell shocked at times.
Postgame Pettersson held himself accountable and pretty much said that it was his fault for the team losing. Good for him holding himself accountable, but now he needs to show that.

Canucks played great up until the exact moment they needed to convert. The second and third period felt like a never-ending powerplay.

I stopped watching after the petty assist.
Good thing Pettersson signed his big money contract when he did. If he had waited until the end of the season, he wouldn't have been offered half of what he got, and he would have deserved even less. That $11.6M is going to haunt them for 8 long years.
And after that game 1 W for the nucks all the fans were calling the preds a poverty team AFTER 1 GAME now look at em 😂😂😂😂
