Auston Matthews had a massive 3 point game in Game 2 against the Boston Bruins. No play was bigger than his game-winning goal to even up the series at one game apiece.
Hockey noob here, but was he offsides? It looked like his skates were over the blue line by the time he got control of the puck. Or did he catch it right at the blue line making it a legal play?
As amazing as what Matthews did once he got the puck, that play doesn't happen without that absurd flip by Domi. If there was a 1mm wider hole in the ice than the size of a puck, it was going in that hole. That was how perfect that alley-oop was!

why wasnt he called for closing his hand on puck and tossing it forward?
