What a season for Colton Parayko. He led the league in blocked shots amongst all skaters and takeaways for defensemen. First defensemen to lead the league in both stats since 2005/2006.

I love when people cherry pick stats to paint a misleading narrative. Colt55 improved from the year before. But it was almost impossible not to. Still a lot to be cleaned up in his game and a deep dive into the advanced stats will glaringly show you that. Make no mistake, we still don’t have a true 1D
