I don't get it. People keep acting like Detroit is the best team in the NHL and deserved to be in it. They weren't that great this year, they were simply better than the past several seasons. Detroit has been trash for a long time. I think this is year 8 or 9 they haven't been in the playoffs. 4 teams had a shot at it and the Caps won it, get over it. It is like people are in morning today over this. Grow up and move on with life. It is just hockey.

Florida did not dominate the leafs for 60 mins it was opposite in the first 20. It was however one of the best and most dominant 3rd periods of hockey ive ever seen from the panthers.

I guess the fact that only one matchup in the Western conference has been determined doesn't matter. Eastern is sorted, Western doesn't matter.
Still kind of boggles the mind that an official can see a puck ricocheting off a hockey stick and going into the safety netting with no problem: Professional visual acuity still intact! But can't see it go straight up in the air after it hit the goalie's glove and come down without anyone noticing where it is until it's in the goal. It's like when all of a sudden they've lost all their math skills and can't count 6 men on the ice when there should only be 5. Things that make you go, hmmm!!
