Goaltender interference still makes no sense…

I still don’t know what NHL goaltender interference is, it makes no sense. Their is no consistency, and it happened again in the Anaheim Ducks vs Calgary Flames game. I recap the play and the rest of the Ducks vs Flames game in this video!

  1. Goalie interference rules have always been mind-boggling. The fact that the rule is left up to the **interpretation** of the refs on the ice should be enough of a sign that it needs to be changed or at least revised. Go Ducks

  2. Are we not surprised at this point? At least the refs were consistently terrible all season. Consistency is key 👌

  3. Honestly I love Kuzy but yeah that was def bs I can't lie. Honestly even on his face you can see him like um… yeah no that won't count and then going wild when it did. Honestly it doesn't matter too much cus hey it's the ducks we are definitely not making the playoffs and that won't matter in the big picture but yeah this is incredibly stupid that that wasn't a no goal.

  4. They call the Toronto war room…
"We're not in right now, but if the call has to do with a Ducks game, the call is against the Ducks."

  5. There is absolutely no excuse for blowing a call like that when you have the time to review it on video. Apparently the rule book reads: “It’s illegal to push the goalie’s pad over the line to score, unless it’s a Ducks goalie.” But the worst call of the season was the one that denied Silf a goal against Florida, in spite of video review showing the puck clearly over the line.

  6. And congrats to Silfverberg on a great NHL career. He was a class act all the way. I will miss him.

  7. It sucks that Silverberg were never able to win a Stanley Cup with the ducks but congratulations on your career and I hope everything goes well with your and family
