Gustafsson Tally Lifts Rangers Over Devils | New York Rangers



The Rangers and Devils squared off in another installment of the Battle of the Hudson River at The Garden. Mika Zibanejad would open the scoring for the Rangers, his first 5-on-5 goal since December 2023. Erik Gustafsson would score from the blueline which would go on to be the game winner for the Rangers. The Blueshirts head immediately to Carolina where they’ll face the Hurricanes tomorrow night.

  2. Rempire State Building! Screened the goalie for the game winner. He also gave the Devils some Scott Stevens treatment which I'm told is no longer allowed since Bettmen wants hockey to be a non-contact sport. The Rangers ended the Devils season when they beat them the last game.

  3. Good game. I hope Rempe doesn’t get suspended. I read an article by Nick Villano, and dude was saying Rempe is a menace and a goon. *And he shouldn’t be allowed to play hockey* (**that was my take on the article,he didn’t actually say that)

    The kid seems to skate pretty well for his size.

    Tomorrow’s game will be very telling Of Rempe isn’t available will Lavi play Brodzinski or Edstrom ?
