I live in Northern BC, and it’s cheaper for me to fly to Arizona to see the Oil play than it is to fly or make the drive to Edmonton. Bonus, I get to see them in a small stadium and it’s not -30 outside.

Game was 60% oilers fans, 20% coyotes fans, and 20% other visitors
At 3-2 the Coyotes started the Skin-er! skin-er! chant which was promptly drowned out by a U-tah! U-tah! chant.
Felt bad for the few true yote fans

I always have mixed feelings about this… this happens with the Leafs too.
For some reason, I’m just a fan of stuffing our fans in away team arenas. A small contingent is fine. I just would prefer to see teams supported by their fans.

Was surprised how well the oilers fans travel – had a group of them behind me in Chicago 100 level…we lost 2-1 but boy they sure got quiet during 3rd pd finally. Their 6th W during streak & if we had bedard I swear that streak would’ve ended. Only 15 sogs which is still unbelievable
