This was not the Patrick Roy you think it was. He spoke all year about playing with joy. He blasted Duclair last season in the media and turned a new leaf this year. In the history of the NY Islanders this is the second time they brought in a seasoned veteran coach after Barry Trotz. This team needs a veteran coach with a resume. One with structure, one who can make adjustments and one that doesn't constantly put his line combinations in a blender. The power play has been an embarrassment for years.
