  1. Love the question about the Avs vs some of these teams. I think they'd definitely beat Italy, maybe France and Germany.
    Line chemistry and formula developed over years will overcome plenty of combined individual skill teams. Most guys on Olympic teams have very little experience on shifts together, but of course every day they practice as a national team that one small weakness fades. It's crazy that sometimes 3 of 5 skaters for Canada are an Avalanche line though. Colorado definitely beats Italy by virtue of them getting free-entry as host nation and having no NHL players. They played hard, but I wish we could have seen Russia in their place.

  2. Its a shame Sweden played so poorly in the group stage. A bronze medal game of Sweden/Finland would've been legendary.
