This was the most beautiful and honest exhibition I've seen for a long time. He laid all his feelings, his self-doubt, the pressure bare on the ice. He showed that he's a human, not a machine. Him asking everyone if this what we wanted. This wasn't just an exhibition. This was his truth and he made everyone feel that. It shows not only character. It sends a message. It was breathtaking.

When I look at this performance I feel like this is the future of figure skating. Not only the massively impressive tricks one after the other but instead art, emotions, a total performance that just ‘clicks’. This skate didn’t just give skating the contemporary feel that makes me enjoy watching even so much more but I love how you can feel his raw and honest emotion. What a brave skate, telling the world what we all know and feel but cannot always comprehend. You go Ilia!
Dlatego Gala Mistrzów była świetnym pomysłem, aby ci, którzy ponieśli porażkę w konkursie, mogli odrodzić się jak Feniks z popiołów. Ilia przekuł porażkę w sukces, choć to niepowodzenie w programie dowolnym zapewne zawsze będzie go bolało, bo przecież nic dwa razy się nie zdarza. To był bardzo piękny i emocjonalny występ, czekaliśmy na niego.

He embodied the song. I first saw Ilia skating to NF's song Running and since then i have been a huge fan of him. His performance is so emotional and so different and I'm not talking about his crazy tricks. As a dancer myself when I see him skate, I feel everything he is trying to convey, every emotion. He embodies his songs in a way that's very specific to him. Ilia I don't think you will every read this, but you are already more than great. You already made it you will always be remembered for being you. So continue ice skating for yourself and have fun and I'm sure everything will go as planned. ❤
