Power with 23 hits is a Joke for a Defensemen
The Sabres have drafted in the top ten in 10 of the last 12 drafts. They have selected 17 first round picks during that time including 2 #1 overalls and 2 #2 overalls. How in the world has Kev🌴n squandered all those assets? Good on Dahlin if he voiced his opinion in some way, shape, or form.
Sabres need better goaltending and defensive zone coverage. Our PP needs to improve. I'll throw the house at Mitch Marner this off-season 13 per .
It's been brutal being a Sens fan for the past 7 years or so. I could not imagine how bad it would be as a Sabres fan. Honestly you all deserve better, once Melnyk and Dorion left it's been onward and upward here.

I've been saying the core is rotten and that was COZENS, Dahlin, UPL, Samuelsson, Tuch. I'm sorry you need a strong core and Dahlin is NOT captain material. That's not his fault I think he was forced into it. But that being said half if not ALL of that rotten core needs to be replaced. You don't make it to the playoffs tinkering with the bottom six edge players. You make bottom six moves when you get close to a Cup BUT we need to get to the playoffs and those players will not get us there. And if Adams doesn't make any MAJOR moves this summer it's going to be the same old same old baby bullshit hockey.
So your evidence that hitting is being phased out of the game, is the best defensive forward, on one of the worst defensive teams in all of hockey… cool story!

Im not ready to give up on power yet, but needs to get more physical.. dump Samuelsson and try to find a couple of more physical stay at home defenseman. If byram wont sign , trade for a top 6.
While I agree that I wish that Power was a little more physical, I’m not ready to trade him because he only has 23 hits 3/4 of the way through the season. Not all Top Defenseman have to be punishing physically.
Scott Niedermayer in 1263 Games only had 284 Hits in his Career. Thats 16 Hits per season and nobody ever complained. And Power has more points in his career so far.
He just needs to tighten up defensively.

Just like the rest of the underachieving core, Dahlin needs to look in the mirror. Back problems, stupid penalties, games he takes off, etc.
Absurd to think physicality which is hitting as well not part of the game. its one reason this team is one of the worst in the league. As for Dahlin I would bet he had some chosen unprintable words for Mr Adams. Thats what any athlete with pride would say especially when team mates are not as motivated as he is.
