I just had a full-on Gestalt shift with the Sabres’ Goathead logo and now see it the way it’s supposed to be. Am I the only one who for years saw it as a semi-abstract, fucked up bison looking off to the left?

No, mine was Minnesota’s logo being an animal head. And the flyers logo not being a roundle with a wing. I thought the flyers logo was facing left, so you look at it from right to left.
For me, the wild logo was the same, i thought it was facing right.
