  1. Pinto would look good in Orange and Black! Ready to trade him yet?
Flyers easily give Pinto a 3y by 3m deal. 🤷‍♂️
Let us know when he requests a trade after you insulted the kid already. 🤡🤷‍♂️😂

  2. As a Sens fan, this sucks. It’s insulting to Pinto that Hamonic got $1.1M and he’s getting offered less than their worst defenseman. I don’t know why Brannstrom and Hamonic were both prioritized over Pinto this summer, but I was at least assuming they’d do anything they had to to get him what he’s worth. To lowball him like that is brutal.

  3. They’re a 💩 organization. New owner better clean this up pronto or they could build the Taj Majal of rinks on Parliament Hill and nobody is going to want to play there

  4. The sens are actually being incredibly clever …. there is obviously a wink wink deal going on behind the scenes that they're working on with pinto. "Take a deal now and we'll make sure you're compensated in your next deal, when there's cap room". They want to keep all their players, but have probably picked a few that they are eventually going to trade but want to showcase them first for maximum trade value. It's going to take a few months unless there's a trade they can't resist.

  5. That's not full story. He gets 1M this year 4M next year when cap space improves and trades are completed. Simple.

  6. Sens are only offering him 1 year because they don't have the cap space for more than 1m and the only thing more insulting than a 1×1 offer would be a 1×2 or a 1×3.

I'd be willing to bet they're telling him that if he takes this now, they'll give him something like 3.5×4 next summer as soon as the space opens up and that'd be better than the 2.5×2 or 2.5×3 that he's asking for now.

That being said, it'd be stupid for Pinto to take the current offer because if anything happens to him before they can ink the next deal, there's no guarantee that it'll actually happen.

Long story short, I'm sure there's more to it than is being implied by this video.

  7. Typifies this franchise in a nutshell! They'll once again go nowhere. This should have been locked up by now and is an insult to both Pinto and the fans. Guess where he WON'T be playing after this season is over?

  8. Batherson scored 22 goals last season…makes just under $5mil a year. One year at $1mil per for Pinto!?!?! Pathetic, Ottawa!

  9. They dont have the cap, they probably offered him 1M and 1 year , so that they can pay him next year. Plus Joseph is making it hard for the org to trade him, he's having a good camp.
