The Flames hoped Tkachuk would be their next captain and after Giordano left were waiting for Tkachuk to commit to them long-term before officially giving him the "C". We know how that turned out.

That Pelletier news hit me where it hurts. The best person ive met in juniors hands down. Screw the preseason. Half the guys are only here to get noticed with big hits and half the teams are trying to cripple teams in their own division for a more easy beginning of the regular season
