Barron is a stud,but the real steal is flipping Hammond for Nate Schnarr, guy had like 100 pts playing C with Suzuki as his winger in the OHL, the guy has a bomb of a shot, I think he can make the Habs as soon as next year
Pretty happy because I wanted the Habs to make moves during the draft to pick up both Heineman and Barron. If I remember Heineman was underratted and was making a late season surge and Barron had a injury and should have picked higher. So this gives me a lot of confidence in the new management that they know what they are doing. I am anxious to see how the draft goes because the good clubs draft well no matter the draft position.
Finally I hope they improve the organisation from A to Z which seems to be what they are doing but also that there is continum with new fresh minds moving up the ranks.
If Lehkonen has the most impact Avs will be winning the cup… the Avs are stacked and coasting into first place… The East is going to eat each other alive in the playoffs, Avs have easiest road to the cup!
