It’s official, the Germans are coming. Tim Stutzle and Moritz Seider are already household names. Now it’s Lukas Reichel’s turn.
With Chicago anxiously awaiting the arrival of their newest golden child in Connor Bedard, they can at least take comfort in knowing that they may just have the perfect linemate for the generational talent.
Reichel is a duel-threat offensive catalyst that thrives in a puck-possession style. The 21-year-old has been a point-generating MACHINE in the AHL the last two seasons – leading all skaters in goals and points. No skater is even within 40 points of his totals!
The Blackhawks have brought in some veterans to support Bedard’s transition, but they’d be foolish to miss an opportunity to link these two young players together and let them grow and explode as a package.

hall is a nice plug for the time being and he should play with 98 and 27, in my dream world moore and nazar spend the next 15 years in chicago genuinely RUNNING the 2nd line right under them.
Hall at center with Bedard and Reichel on the wings could look really nice.

Bedard and Reichel are great, and in a few years they can add Moore for some world-class speed
reichel will be playing with bedard by mid-december and they're gonna be killer on the powerplay from day 1. i cannot wait. reichel has been so fun to watch the last couple years in rockford
I think Chicago needs to avoid the Edmonton route, and draft high-end D ASAP. They are set at forward.
Just one correction, JJ Peterka, Alexander Holtz & Jakob Pelletier are basically scoring at the exact same rate as Reichel (bc 2 pts/82G difference is meaningless).
Not saying Reichel isn't fantastic, but he's not the "otherworld" talent you're making him out to be, esp. when you say "No player is within 40 points of his totals" without also saying "He's also played 60% more games than the #2 scorer which would completely eliminate the difference in their numbers."
