You guys hated Holl for his defensive plays, cant wait to see Klingberg. Great offense, very poor on defense. Hopefully it goes well though, but so far this team seems worse than last years. Hopefully they get more assets by trade deadline, cause this is Mathews last year before he resigns, it's an important year!
Ryan Reaves being signed is great! We have grit, attitude, emotion, and high energy now in the locker room. He's really amazing for that. 🙂

I'm sorry but even bringing in a Domi or Bertuzzi isn't going to fix much. Basically acquiring a Bunting type player back. They are going to be hurting down center after Matthews & Tavares as much as i kove Kampf he isn't a 3rd line C so that to ne is a glaring issue especially for all the talk about wanting to shift Tavares to the wing. Seeing someone like Duchene sign for 3 m to Dallas is disappointing. However what really sucks is letting Schenn & Acciari go for 4.75 and bringing Klingberg at 4.15 to be our next Gardiner/Barrie, I feel like people are happy about this deal forgot about them, don't get me wrong good player offensively but not the type of player the leafs at the moment, wasn't even a priority tbh. This was a tough day losing all of the depth but it seems they are content with mostly depth guys, prospects & the core four. I can't see them being any better next year and Buffalo, Detroit & Ottawa are all knocking on the door and have got better, while Boston, Florida & Tampa should remain around the same type of team they were last year. Hopefully leafs got somethings planned up during this summer because even bringing back Matthews & Nylander isn't going to be enough…
