Big Buff will always be the embodiment of what it is to be a Jet! He was a tough competitor & gave it his all. I looked over some notable NHL players who left the league in their primes which includes Dustin Byfuglien. (His info begins 0:49)

Buff was 34 when he retired, coming off of 2 back to back serious injuries. I would no let say he was in his prime
