  1. Sorry to say but i doubt Zadina will make the lineup for long unless a few forwards are traded early on.

    They’ll try him out for sure, but i doubt San Jose will push down their own prospects for a very fringe NHLer if he doesn’t perform right away.

    That’s normally the luxury of being one of the worse team in the league, you can have young players on the 3rd/4th line making mistakes the whole year and learning from it, no matter the results you were going to miss the playoffs by a large margin anyway.

    But San Jose has a large number of established NHLer in their forward group, which limits the space for development.

  2. “Kevin LaBanc can still be solid defensively” ??? Does this guy watch the sharks? LaBanc is a one dimensional goal scorer who struggles to score goals. He was even getting healthy scratched last season. Labanc has never been “solid defensively” lol
