Goofy call, but I can understand the penalty shot. Teravainen's stick got into Atkinson's face and slowed his stride down. It's a safe bet that had he not slowed down, Atkinson would have been able to outskate Hamilton for a clean breakaway. Sure, we'll never know what would have happened all things being equal, but that's my logic.
