The Vancouver Canucks have defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 6-3, in a game where David Rittich pretty much opened the floodgates in the 3rd period.

This comes as the second Canucks win in a row, and the fifth Leafs loss in a row.

Vancouver got goals from Brandon Sutter, Quinn Hughes, Nils Hoglander, and Tanner Pearson, with assists coming from Brock Boeser, Travis Hamonic, JT Miller, Hughes, and Nate Schmidt.

Toronto got goals from John Tavares and Adam Brooks, but ultimately Braden Holtby wins the goaltending battle.

  1. Maybe when you can’t get any goaltenders to perform well the problem is the defence, I’m no analyst though. It’s almost like the maple leafs defence is dogwater

  2. Could be "big brain tactics" by Toronto.. They might prefer the Canucks being in the hunt and forcing the other contenders to not rest their star players as the season wraps up. Lol.

  3. Listen, pretty sad that your non-playoff team has to make fun of a goalie that was traded to Toronto to help out. Rittich was not on tonight. No big deal.. you never had a bad day?
It is so weird that people get so much pleasure seeing another team from another city fail. I don't know any leaf fan that has been comfortable all season. We know better than anyone how this team has performed for the last 50 years. So I doubt any fan really is arrogant. People have some weird obsessions. Hating on the leafs is a very weird obsession.

  4. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

  5. I don't care if they lose all the rest of the games. They beat Toronto twice. They looked pretty good last night. Riley catching Boeser in that play was a hell of an effort. Cudos to Riley.

  6. This is the most maple leafs thing to happen. You want a Disney story win the leafs will give it to you
