  1. Hey Dude. Can you explain how this would work if Murray goes on LTIR next year? Would that hurt the cap? Thanks man, really enjoy your videos

  2. 3.5M is around where I think they wind up with Samsonov. A Murray trade would be better than a buyout, but teams taking the contracts have upped the ante on sweeteners needed as their incentive to do the deal. When you look at Murray's W-L record and stats, he's not actually bad at all. But.. his injury record is what makes him risky. Leafs should only go 2 years on Samsonov if they can. Still wondering why they gave Kampf 2.4M, and even bothered wasting cap space with Klingberg.

  3. Leafs are far apart on another contract SO WHAT ELSE IS NEW !!! none of this shit is going to get done till at least September the Leafs will wait till the last GD minute to get any of these contracts done either way its not going to matter just offer the players a reasonable deal and tell them to take or leave it no more holding the team hostage to blood suck more money no more BS just get it done here is a contract here is the term are you in or are you out we need to know by Sept 1st or we will assume you will not be back so then you can play out your contract or move on we are done talking

  4. the guy should get 1 yr and 1 yr only because if he cant produce for more than 30 games? we dont sign part-time help. Dubas would, but we dont.

  5. Wow really , Jarnkrok has a Mod NTC too, do the jocks of the Leafs have NTC? Did Dubas give every player a NTC? How pathetic was he really? This team has been ruined over and over by garbage management and ownership for 55 years. Change is needed VERY bad and I don't mean the players.

  6. Sampsonov isnt worth that money. I think he played over his head last season and looking to cash out before he drops off. Which is understandable, but the Leafs cant shoot and miss again like they did with Murray. They need to trade a core 4 player to Winnipeg for Hellybuyck & Morrissey and it should be Marner. I've said it countless times, Dubas over paid Marner by 3 million and 10.9 for what he brings in the playoffs is an utter digrace. I dont think Marner could even lift the cup

  7. The fact that Justin Holl is not on the team anymore alone there is no way this team is worse defensively regardless of how it looks on paper, I would like to see them replace Giordano beyond that though I'm happy with the other 5 guys

  8. Samsonov was a gamble that paid off. I believe Curtis Sanford helped him a lot & Samsonov has said as much. Under the circumstances I think 2 x 3.6M is a fair number & if Samsonov is as good over those 2 years, then he can make a compelling case he's a legit # one. He will then be a UFA at age 27 & if he doesn't like Toronto, he can go anywhere he wants. I don't think he needs to play anymore than 50 games a season as I believe Woll has gotten past his injury impediments & is likely a really good back-up, if not a number one himself. Durability is the critical metric outside making saves, so I hope both these guys stay healthy. The other option is to give Samsonov a one year deal (again at 3.2 to 3.6M) & let him become a UFA next July. I'd rather have him for 2 at that number. You don't want to do the arb process as it usually sours the relationship with your player, so hopefully they will split their difference & make a deal.

  9. All this extra money here and there and it’s starting to seem necessary that they have to trade Nylander solely for cap space. Such a shame.

  10. Not that anyone cares, but I think the Leaf D is no worse than last year. I still like Brodie, McCabe, Liljegren, Giordano, Timmins & Rielly. Now they have Klingberg. I would not be freaking out if those were the 7 D to start the season. Additionally Tree signed Lagesson & Lajoie as depth guys who have been productive AHL guys with 60 & 70 NHL games respectively under their belts. They're both in their mid-twenties, with Lagesson at 6' 2" & 209 lbs & physical & Lajoie 6' 1" 198 lbs, so sort of Treliving type D. The whipping boy Holl is gone & oddly valued more by Yzerman in Detroit, than in Toronto, so why do people think the absence of Schenn is terrible? I liked Luke, but there were times when he looked a bit over matched, especially vs speedy agile forwards. He was playing at 850K & Tree offered him 2 x 2M, but Trotz went bigger at 2.75M x 3, so Schenn, a country music fan (like O'Reilly) chose more $ & term. He'll be 34 in Nov & he's not getting any faster. There's a reason he was in the minors in 18/19 & 19/20, so although I'm truly sorry to see him go, he parlayed playing very well with Rielly into a noticeable overpay.

  11. There’s only so many starting jobs for goalies , leafs need to stand there ground . They took a gamble on him if he moves on … oh well , maybe they can sign the Zamboni driver David Ayres to a 1 year deal . Lol

  12. Once they figure out if someone like nylander is going to get moved,(I believe he has to) then Samsonov won't be a problem to sign.

  13. wow you are really bad at this dude.
I can't sub to a channel where the lead is so flat and boring…

  14. Brodie & Murray need to be moved… adding a sweetener like Robertson & 2nd rounder which maybe the only way to go

The Leafs need to replace Luke Schenn with Sean Durzi and Joshua Brown (Coyotes)

  15. Looked, the Leafs must part with a core 4 player, because if they don't they are not going to be cap compliant with this Murray situation! Someone will call bullshit and then what??? Business is business! Money is money!

  16. Go Leafs Go! Just think in my time I have seen Bobby Hull sign a million dollar contract in Winnipeg on the corner of Portage and Main. Players wore no helmuts! Used to be a gentleman's game but now it is a gladiator sport.
