I don't think that nitpicks they have the city matter much to the players. They will go to where they think they can win, and Calgary has been stuck a perpetual state of mediocrity since their 2004 Finals run. If Conroy builds a contender, the free agents will come.

Lucic waived his nmc to go to calagry from Edmonton. Edmonton has all his listed reasons of why the city sucks and its only a few hours away. Its something to do with management or he just wants to go to a playoff team. Probably the later
