Out of the Restricted Free Agents the Minnesota Wild offered contracts to, Isha believes Calen Addison will be the most difficult to LOCK UP.
Addison, his camp, and his family are likely upset with how the Minnesota Wild handled him and furthermore hampered his development in 2022-23. If Calen Addison was not mishandled and by being glued to the press box seat, his agent would likely have been able to negotiate a better contract extension based on his production.
Instead, the Minnesota Wild now have a disgruntled young player, whose development is further behind due to the Minnesota Wild’s mistake last season.

I'm fine with them getting rid of Addison. They need more big defenseman like Middleton who can play in the top 4. Addison would just get out worked by an opponent with the puck constantly.
