I miss Reaves in Vegas so much, just for the Reaves/Kanes back and forth.
I think this may be a good thing for them bc physical guys like this tend to be better in the playoffs than the regular season. Luke Schenn, for example, wasn’t good until he got to the playoffs this year. This could very well be a move to try to do better in the playoffs at the cost of some regular-season success, which I think is a great idea, but 3 years term is way too much lol
Yea he feels almost like a novelty player lol like he’s a sideshow act that travels with the team. But still I think he’s a beauty, and I’m pumped to watch em.

Minnesota had a completely different swagger when Reeves was dressed. Encouraging seasons, not so much.

He is an ahl player at best, and hes 37. No chance he will even play in the playoffs as fights almost never happen and if you're a liability out there you're not playing.

As a Stars fan… Reaves didn’t help Minnesota in the playoffs at all. He wasn’t even the one who threw the questionable hit on Pavelski.
Commercial breaks play more during a hockey game than Reaves

Ryan is a great guy, really noticed him not getting involved mixing it up later in the season. After Knies gets bullied, this is what you have to do. The rest of the leafs have to grow a spine, embarrassing.
Is this not Wayne Simmonds part 2? Almost everything said here about Reaves was why The Leafs brought in Simmonds. He couldn't change the culture. Hard to imagine Reaves will be able to either.

Reaves will never be on the ice when Bennet or other high-skill / hard hitting guys who take liberties with your players. He never is. Maybe a defenseman like Gudas but hardly ever anyone else. And enjoy a bad major in a critical playoff game!
