  1. I’m sorry but if the ducks don’t choose Fantilli they are dumb, he’s the only Elite forward in the draft that can play good defence and put up 100 points, imo

  2. To reiterate Lego's point, all you have to do is flip through an old THN draft preview to realize that rankings mean nothing. As long as you get a guy that pans out, it doesn't matter that he was ranked lower. The funniest comment I hear around draft time is that "Team X has interest in player Y, but they shouldn't take him because he is ranked lower than their drafting position." Like get the F out of here! If he's your guy, then take him.

  3. My only thing on the Ducks taking Michkov is that it's been heavily theorized and some people have put rumors out that Michkov only wants to play for the Caps or Nucks. Not only that, that all of the issues that are being put out are an attempt to get his stock to drop for the purpose of getting him to WSH

  4. They're 60/40 on Fantilli & Carlsson they're definitely not taking Michkov, Michkov goes to either SJ or Philly, Flyers are taking him if he's there confirmed
Wings like Honzek at 9 , Yzerman personally scouted him at 2 WHL playoff games, but they're leaning towards Benson, Blues at 10 are all in on Honzek if the Wings pass, Coyotes love Leonard but if he's not there have Dvorsky & Reinbacher as back up's, this is all I know, also if Canucks pick at 11 it's defiantly either Willander or ASP

    It's like this:
    Bedard
    Fantilli / Carlsson
    Smith / Carlsson
    Michkov / Smith / Carlsson
    Smith / Leonard
    Leonard / Reinbacher / Dvorksy
    Michkov / ?
    ?
    Benson / Honzak
    Honzak / Benson

  5. The Ducks picking Michkov is going to upset the apple cart and create chaos among the draft tables.

  6. Legorocks: why did Canucks choose Podkolzin rather than Caufield?
Canucks fan: (all mad stare at JB) well, you ask him. Yeah, thank you, Jim!

  7. I see can michkov being better than Fantilli, but for me if michkov and bedard are 100/100 fantilli is 99/100 so the risk is not worth it for 1%.
