I wonder what happened this year, he's been so bad
When I was a kid we used to joke about throwing a sumo wrestler in net. NHL GM's went with the basketball player approach. Koskinen is very inconsistent & my belief is a lot of these large goalies aren't NHL caliber. Instead they are drafted with the hopes of improving them to become NHL caliber & often it turns out to be a wasted pick. Positioning is only part of what makes a goalie good. They also need the mobility & I don't believe most of these large goalies have the mobility. I'd rather see talent over size whether it's a player or a goaltender.
