Why would you want to see him go to a bigger market? Columbus is last in the league and already stays competitive with attendance already, you'd have a lot of people suddenly become Columbus fans as soon as they are competitive, let alone if they get Bedard. A winning Columbus team gets almost all of Ohio, half of west Virginia, the southwestern part of Virginia, most of Kentucky and maybe even Indiana/parts of Michigan, pretty big market tbh
its truly not that hard of a move to pull off lmao
This goal should be taken out of the game. It is NOT lacrosse.
The best Michigan I’ve ever seen??? Was the Michigan
At this point it isn't even impressive anymore
Hoglander in the Swedish league is the best one. Banks it off the back off the back of the net and actually SCOOPS the puck up like Mike Legg did, and scores in one fluent motion. The whole play happens in like .1 of a second. Fuckin soooo nasty

I dont think this is the best yet. It is a nice one though
That's not the Michigan tho
This is high sticking to me. The shaft is above the bar when the puck goes in. Don’t care what the ruling is, to me that should be high stick.
Nela Lopusanova did it better
Id prefer if it was an illegal move.
You see in the allstar games players doing a similar move just carrying the puck from center to the back of the net. Its not difficult for these players to carry the puck like that.
It just looks like a way to cheat the system.
is it just me that hates the 'michigan goal' title? seems so unfitting.
I do not text. thanks though.
Gary just chose who gets Bedard
Lmfao no. The two Svechnikov (first to ever do it during an NHL game) was the dirtiest
Wayno keeps saying he doesn’t understand why goalie don’t just stay standing against the post cause goalies keep getting exposed in that position
I think this had potential for coaches challenge (for high stick). The heel of the blade was above the crossbar.
I think the move is creative, but I also think that if the player makes contact with the goalie's head, it should be called no-goal and assessed a high sticking penalty.
The flashiness of the move has memorized fans and refs into forgetting the basic rules of the game.
If Tortorella hates it, by logical definition it is great.
Look at every goalie lift the opposite side of the net off when trying to cover that corner. Its funny that they are still giving Matt Murry shit about knocking the nets off. They must be a 3rd of the weight I'm used to playing with.
it's an illegal goal no different than picking up puck with the hand and throwing into the goal

i love Kent Johnson he walked in and scored a beauty made it look too easy
High sticking
That's a clean goal.
Practice is a helluva thing
I love the play it shows a great amount of talent and initiative and the fact that he's done it at all three levels is incomparable and it's something for other kids to shoot for
The skill to pull this off is beyond ridiculous. Having said that, I don't like this play in hockey. Not a fan of throwing the puck in the net as it just goes against the spirit of the game in my opinion. It forces a defenseman to actually slash the forward's stick to defend it. Plus it puts the blade of a stick awfully close to a goalies face.
I agree with torts. Chris Pronger is also right. That guy should be at least hit.
This one looks like high stick but okay
