  1. Certainly, the fact that they got anything for Stillman (Kariya, Federov and now Stillman – wow. We love our crappier versions of star players, don't we?) is a minor miracle, but right now, all these wingers the Canucks are obsessed with bringing in doesn't help the fact that they now have a logjam there, meanwhile their D core is still a hot mess. Eventually, they have to actually address that problem or they'll get nowhere. Insanity is making the same decisions and expecting a different result.

  2. "Brock has played well" – This guy is clueless… Brock has been invisible this year. He looks slow, no grit, perimeter player,…

  3. The Canucks have made a couple of low-risk, high potential reward moves to re-stock their prospect pool, so I am not going to be super critical of that. However, unless there is a bigger plan that involves flipping some of the team's surplus on the wings to get the team some help on defence, all these moves would only make what is already a poorly-constructed team even more dysfunctional.

  4. Love the Bloom video highlighting a few empty netters. You don't want a guy that can't pot the empty netter.

  5. The Canucks managed to find a way to neutralize the Dickinson contract. We basically used the 2nd round we shipped off to draft Josh Bloom. Buying Vitali Kravtsov for basically free has also been impressive…

  6. I mean, Brock having 11g, 27a and 38pts in 52 games…on a team that’s been as bad as the Canucks…sure he’s not scoring like he did when he first came in the league, but those numbers aren’t terrible…

  7. J.T Miller is better player than Horvat! Management made right decision signing him over Horvat.
