Would be pretty fucking fantastic after 2018 and the years since to win 2/3 of these Tampa games coming up. Honestly just itching at this point to see how the team performs under playoff pressure.

This is an excellent test of where we are at 🔥 LFG
This team always tends to step up against teams that are considered “heavyweights”. Tampa’s not doing too hot right now but that doesn’t mean they still aren’t a threat. Vasy seems to be having a tougher go of it in net as well so we need to take advantage.
Feel like the boys, like all of us, are probably feeling themselves right now after that win on Sunday. They gotta take that and use it to do it again tonight.
I hope this set of games against Tampa finally let’s Timo settle in.
I’m also a Winnipeg fan tonight.
My biggest fear with this weird three game set with Tampa is Kucherov does something when he inevitably gets cranky and hurts one of our guys. It’s unfortunate its even a thought for a player of his skill.
Hoping Lazar can make his debut tonight, we’ll need all the bangers we have to counter the many dirty ass, burns type players on Tampa. I want points for us, but I’d also like to make it out relatively un injured. We’ve seen how old, slow vets even things out. Fuck tampa, LFG Devils!

Devils looking for their 4th win in a row tonight.
Despite the success of the year so far, they have on many occasions won 3 in a row, but only twice have they won 4 (or more) in a row:
– The 13-game win steak
– 5-game win steak in January where we beat Rags/Canes at home, then swept California road trip
Depending on the result of the WIN/CAR game, the Devils can officially move up to 1st in the division.
The only thing sweeter than seeing NJ end the year as the division leader (and #2 overall in the league) would be to see the Rags fall to WC#1 so we can have the honor of sending them packing in Round 1. Unfortunately there are a pair of CAR/NYR games coming up soon so I literally don’t know who to root for. Who am I kidding, I’m rooting against Rags every time.
