Enough with all the adversity this team has dealt with all season.
I keep waiting for them to overcome it and am disappointed time and time again.
This team needs a leader. Time to name a captain, the days of “we have lots of leaders on the ice” are over, this season is not like last season.
It wouldn’t surprise me if the Flames won tonight and then got blown out by Arizona next week…it is just the kind of season it has been.
If you guys are looking for a palate cleanser strongly recommend going to a Wranglers game. Great hockey, terrific team. Gives you hope for the Flames.
Wolf is fantastic. He’s going to be an NHL goalie sooner rather than later. Great puck handler too, hit a ton of guys on the attacking blue line last night.
Matthew Phillips is a talented kid. Great on the puck. Quick as hell. Already has a trademark backhand reverse pass. Can’t believe they won’t give him an extended shot with the Flames. Honestly, as a Calgary kid you’ve got a new fan favourite RIGHT THERE.

Was going to predict a Flames win.
But with Markstrom playing and Lindholm possibly out, my hope has been extinguished.
