Well, it all boils down to this, doesn’t it.

The Vegas Golden Knights have gotten eliminated by the Montreal Canadiens in the semi-finals of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

With their gaping hole at the centre position, speculation has now ensued as to whether or not VGK could be going after Buffalo Sabres captain Jack Eichel.

  1. If Cody Glass suddenly blossoms next season, Vegas won't need Eichel. They traded Suzuki (instead of Glass) to Montreal because they felt Glass had a higher ceiling.

  2. The should offer sheet Pettersson at 10,5 at 5 years instead, is about the same money and is only 2 first +2nd+3rd, much cheaper than Eichel

  3. Vegas don’t have the assets to put together the best offer among ten plus other teams. Where’s the high first rounder Sabres would want? Where’s the center prospect Sabres would expect in return?

  4. Again another Eichel rumor. 😂. Why don’t teams wait till after his surgery… don’t trade your top prospects or players for a player once great now possibly very much likely damaged goods.

  5. With what assets? Vegas draft picks would be all later in the rounds. Vegas is also in cap trouble

  6. I mentioned this in a comment on I think a Steve dangle video. I feel like eichel fits exactly what they need.

  7. You guys really underestimate eichel btw Vegas doesn’t have enough for him don’t go out and get used parts for this player I’ll get them in free agency go out and get 2 top prospects 1st line potential

  8. Dude again we already took all of the blues garbage for ryan and draft picks like so many draft picks work out. And what news do you read there are at least 6 teams in the hunt for jack

  9. Give up one of your best forward, goalie, defenseman, and prospect for jack eichel? Gtfoh
