Clean hit my ass. Hockey is violent and a rough game, but that was a cheap shot. Wilson should have been tossed out of the game. The only possible reason for the hit was to injure. Very poor sportsmanship. If a shot like that is not worthy of a suspension, what would it take? Just my 2 cents.
What about the cross check on Carlson leading to reaves goal? Does this mean you guys won’t post game highlights when Vegas loses just like y’all did last year every time penguins lost in the finals?
How about Charging. From NHL rule book:
Charging shall mean the actions of a player who, as a result of distance traveled, shall violently check an opponent in any manner. A “charge” may be the result of a check into the boards, into the goal frame or in open ice.
It sure looked like he skated several strides with the clear intent to hit the opposing player. He only stopped striding to prepare himself for the hit.

Now I love Tom Wilson for his physical play. I think he could become a great power forward, but this is not okay. Pucks gone and I get it Marchessault should not admire his pass and that’s on him. But it is late. Now my question is, why give him a penalty if no one initially called it. If someone did then okay, but I never saw an arm go up.
