The new Skate jersey is a modern interpretation of the 90s classic; featuring a sleek crest, ‘V’ pattern sleeve striping, and the silhouette of the North Shore mountains on the neckline.

Love it. The logo looks slightly more clean and kind of electric and modern. The arm band format seems like a nod to the way the bands on the original 1970s jersey were like, but in the skate colours (and no V). I wouldn't even be upset if this outright replaced their current home jerseys, seeing as this team is probably about to be blown up anyway…

It's a perfect time to bring this logo back to remind us of a time (1980's) when the Canucks organization survived based on the loyalty of their fans rather than their results which is a lot like how it is today. Nostalgia!
